Have you ever experienced heartbreak? How do you manege it?

Are there any suggestions, or would anyone like to share their personal experiences with overcoming heartbreak?

You may try what Anatole France stated in his novel "The Red Lily (French: Le Lys rouge)" published in 1894:
"There is nothing good except to ignore and forget.

    Onur Türk 🇹🇷 🇦🇿 on Sep 26, 15:21

Helloı. I want to share my heartbroken experience. I fell in love when I was 21–22 years old to a Romanian girl. I know very well what that feeling is like.  (u) On top of that, I was in a foreign country, struggling with money and housing problems, and I didn’t even speak Romanian language. In such a difficult time, I was alone in the city with no one to support me, not even I dint have another Turk to talk with my problems.

I was suffering a lot because of her and I even thought about ending my life.  :( But I didn’t do it because I thought of how much it would hurt my mother, and I also believed that maybe one day, if I got married, I would be happier. Life always gives you another chance, even if you’re 60 years old.

I used to go to the park where we had met and think about her. I stayed away from people and sat in the dark because I loved darkness. Then one day, while thinking about her in the dark at Park, I realized I was taking pleasure in it and that my psychology was not okay. Back then, I thought I was the first person in the world to suffer from love.

Then I went to Internet coffe and started researching how to deal with this problem. That’s when I saw that there were so many people on the internet going through the same heartbreak. Reading about other people’s troubles comforted me at least I wasn’t the only one.

Day by day, I began to pull myself together. It took me 7 months to start forgetting her. Later, I found another girlfriend, and we even shared intimacy, which sped up the process of moving on. One and a half years later, I met her again and realized I no longer loved her my feelings weren’t the same anymore.

I think the most important thing is to love yourself. Happiness is in the human mind. Life is full of surprises, and no one can stop a determined person. (h)
