Hello, I am looking for a boyfriend from America. I am here for online dating as I have been single for a long time. I am a single woman. and i want to tell you something about myself.

This is by no means all of them, but my experience. There are many that are decent guys I just don't happen to find them, and it seems many of my friends have dated this Peter Pan American type, please avoid this type! Any American man that doesn't display this behavior is probably great guy and a keeper.

The issue seems to be women are drawn to the worst guys, and this is a sad fact, there are real gems out there that should be acknowledged that are nothing like what I’m about to write. However there are so many out there that are like I’m about to write so watch out for these characteristics if you see it, run!

They tend not to be romantic

They want you to be a second mom

You will be working a job and doing damn near 100% of the house work, yard work and child rearing, even repairs.

There is no sense of urgency, they tend to procrastinate until a bad situation spirals out of control then lump the burden on you.

Finances, well you better keep track, they will drain your account for their wants which can be borderline childish, video games, lego Millennium Falcons, Polo shirts and other nonsense.

Responsibility, ha! What's that…they are only loyal to themselves everything else is your job.

You go on a date with them you foot the bill, or they pay a fraction. They can openly insult you to your face and laugh about it. They allow other men to harass you or hit on you in their presence and instead of being mad think its funny.

They can be misogynistic, at times while exhibiting no behavior showing they know how to be superior.

Callous, so what you broke your leg? Start hobbling we ain't got all day…meanwhile you are carrying shopping bags of groceries, a pair of crutches and a box of Laundry powder…. And they are skipping off ahead with a can of Heinz baked beans.

Many do work, I think that's the great thing but if you show them your pay can sustain the household, they will quit or work as less as possible.

Their mothers are always meddling, this can go with women as well. For example…

My friend comes home from her job as an assistant teacher, his mom is in her house…. “I'm just making Joe a cup of coffee, I know how he likes it” now she's mildly insulted, she goes in to change into a waitress uniform for her second job. Joe has worked part time helping his uncle put in a air-conditioning unit for a few hours, he is playing XBOX.

Mom was given a key by Joe so she can make him drinks, bring him food and watch their daughter because he's had a hard day…

Joe's Mom is upset that her daughter in law doesn't have the laundry done, doesn't have a spotless house, so she starts doing her laundry.

My friend sees this and says “don't worry I'll do all that later” mom begins to passively aggressively tell her she will clean up her mess, meanwhile Joes thumbs are a twittling and he hasn't moved.

Every American guy I dated was a package deal with mom! Mom saw no faults in her child, mom would defend him with her last breath….

If mom starts milling around, please run as fast as you can!

I'm not saying this is something all American men are hiding, but this is something you should know before you date one be aware, be vigilant, and walk away.

The best American men tend to be the more educated and nerdy types, they are pretty great guys all around. Interesting conversation, well rounded, intelligent and will show love.

Also the guy that's independent, when an American guy knows how to take care of himself and is humble, smart, has interests that require skills and is faithful you hit the jackpot…

One of my work mates years ago was the last guy above, he wasn't handsome but I remember us girls chatting saying any girl who gets him is very lucky because he was a fantastic person. Fast forward 6 years later he is happily married with a little girl and lives and dies for his wife and child. He is the guy that the women should be drawn to, not the bad boy loser types which unfortunately are a dime a dozen
