Georgia And Azerbaijan: Good Destination for this year in Summer

Located in the Caucasus area, with an ancient and tumultuous history, during which it passed under various dominions, from the Persian Empire to the Mongols and later to the Soviet Union, Georgia is today one of the most welcoming, beautiful and diverse countries. , in which from the spectacular relief to the friendly people, everything has a special charm. Together with Azerbaijan, the two states form one of the oldest regions on the planet, places that can truly be called the priceless treasures of the universal treasury.

So we invite you to discover this summer two new amazing destinations, countries worth exploring for their cultural richness and ancient civilization, but also for the landscapes that sometimes seem to take your breath away.

Between the 17th and the 28th of August we travel for 11 days to Georgia and Azerbaijan, a carefully prepared trip that we are looking forward to. Why?

Because the old center of the Georgian capital Tbilisi bears the traces of Persian, Mongolian, Roman, Iranian, Russian civilizations - in a stunning architectural blend that gives the city a unique medieval air.

The food is delicious: Khachapuri (traditional bread stuffed with local cheese and eggs), khinkali (local dumplings with European and Asian flavors) or churchkhela desserts (dried grape skins stuffed with nuts), as well as local wines - are a tasting experience which you will not forget!

Outside the cities, Georgia is a true natural paradise. Martvili Canyon, with its dreamy landscapes, the monastery and waterfalls in the area, the Arch of the Queen Tamar Bridge and Makhutseti Waterfall, or the church of St. George in the village of Zvare are just a few objectives that we will check during our route through the mountains.

The old town of Baku, located on the shores of the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan, is home to some architectural gems: the Maiden's Tower, the Shirvanshah Palace, as well as the oriental-looking houses or the narrow, curved pedestrian streets - all give the city a special charm.

Mardakan Castle in Baku, a unique feudal monument in the region, with its 76 steps of the circular tower leading to a height of 22 meters, allows us to enjoy the stunning panorama of the surroundings.

Burning Mountain, called Yanar Dagh is a unique phenomenon in the region, the flames rising from the porous rocks reaching up to 3 meters and forming scorching tiaras.
